By using Press to Say ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using this App on behalf of a child, you agree to these terms as the child's parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of Service

Press to Say is a web-based educational application that helps children learn letters, syllables, and words in Russian, English, and Spanish using text-to-speech technology built into your device.

Free tier: Single letter mode — unlimited, forever, no account required.

Paid tier ($6.99 lifetime): Word mode and syllable mode — unlocked permanently on your device after a one-time purchase.

3. Purchases and Payment

• All purchases are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
• The $6.99 lifetime unlock is a one-time charge. There are no subscriptions, no auto-renewals, and no hidden fees.
• The unlock is stored in your browser's localStorage. It is device-specific — if you clear your browser data or switch devices, you may need to restore access. Contact us at [email protected] for help.

5. Permitted Use

You may use Press to Say for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You may not:

• Attempt to bypass the paywall or unlock mechanism
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in Press to Say is owned by Natalia Zvereva. Emoji graphics are provided by the operating system or browser and are subject to their respective licenses. Word-to-speech audio is generated by your device's built-in TTS engine.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Speech quality depends on your device's text-to-speech engine.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Natalia Zvereva shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App ($6.99).

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
